Education minister promises 'maximum flexibility' for students affected by coronavirus
Description
Federal Education Minister Dan Tehan says “there will be a considerable number” of students who will miss university and school over the coronavirus crisis.
“We’ll be doing everything we can to work with universities to limit the impact this has on our international student education,” he said.
Mr Tehan said his department was working together with universities to facilitate online and remote learning for any students impacted by travel bans.
“We’ll be putting maximum flexibility in place to enable the sector to deal with this issue as best it can,” he said.
