Hi team. We are Guys With Games ESL/EAL Activities.
We share new games every week for you to use in the ESL classroom. Our focus is teaching English in a fun way and sharing games that deliberately make English the main focus, not just an afterthought.

Today’s Game:
In today’s video, David (USA) teaches us how to play a fun and engaging game for your ESL Students using a few materials, no prep, and your imagination!
Name of the game:
Eiffel Tower
Materials:
None
Ideal class size:
- 6-20 Students (adjust accordingly)
Instructions:
Choose a topic that has a sequence or organize your own curriculum into an ordered sequence that your students know by heart. Then line everyone up or stand in a circle with your hands up like a tower. Teacher says the first word in the sequence lowering their hands, then others follow in random order doing the same with the next words in the sequence.
The catch?
No two students can do it at the same time or they’re out!
If you’re the last left standing, you lose too!
Take a look at a demonstration at minute 2:17
Guidelines for submitting games:
Please submit only games that are English-focused. Games that don’t have an English element beyond just using English to explain the rules won’t be considered.
