A village of Haryana, Faridabad is in news. Supreme Court had refused to stay the demolition of approx. 10,000 illegally constructed houses on June 7, witnessed clashes between protesters and police on 30 June as hundreds gathered amid fears of losing their homes. Faridabad district's Khori village, near Delhi, on 30th June afternoon saw locals being lathi-charged after policemen were attacked with stones. Why police and Khori Village is in clash.
