Fluid Art | Rainbow Jupiter | Acrylic Ring Pour #58
Description
I couldn't decide if I wanted to do an acrylic tree ring pour or an acrylic straight pour, so it came out to be both. Then after looking at it, it reminded me of Jupiter. I made some swirls in there to create the fire effect.
Hope you enjoy!
*Base Paint:
Artists Loft Titanium White and Mars Black.
My mixes are 2 parts of 60/30 Glue-All and water 1 part Floetrol and 1 part acrylic paint. I'm not using any silicone in my acrylic paints. I really just want to work with the basics for now. I have been making my base at about a T1 and my colors are about a T2 to T3. The T is meant for thickness of the acrylic paint. That means that when you pull your stick out of the acrylic paint the paint will run off your stick and stay at the top for that many seconds, before it sinks back into the cup.
MATERIALS I USED:
-Acrylic Paint
-Glue-All
-Floetrol
-Water
-Wooden sticks
-Heat Gun
-CANVAS 10”X 10”
I got into acrylic painting as a way to be creative and show my daughter how to have fun with acrylic paints. We both have had such a great and fun time. I have learned a lot from a few great channels out there. Check out my Featured channels for some awesome people out there in our Art community. https://www.youtube.com/user/kokosgoldfish/channels
