Garbage with Autocar ACX Heil DuraPack 5000 #15 - Full Route
Description
Well well well, where do I start with this one? I headed out at around 7 in the morning, thinking one of two things: either the driver was going to do the route different, or it would be a different driver, maybe even a different truck. But, as it turns out, the normal driver did the route a bit different than last time! And I've now followed him the whole route two weeks in a row! He was still on his normal truck, #15.
Now this one's super long, so here's some time stamps so you can skip around:
4:10 - let's begin the route! The driver backs down to the first can on the main drag.
15:43 - we head up my street. Listen to that beautiful Cummins ISL engine sound there!
26:10 - upper half of my street begins! Starts off with a nice takeoff!
50:45 - lower half of my street. We're working our way down
1:00:13 - final takeoff on my street (a very good one!) I'm glad he got on it during that takeoff!
1:06:10 - we start working our way down from the top of the main drag!
1:34:45 - final two stops on the route.
1:37:45 - final takeoff, a full throttle acceleration! Listen to that amazing sound of the ISL Cummins and Allison 4500 RDS shifting at high RPM's! And did I mention the horn? Gotta love how the driver blew the horn on his way out, that was just freaking awesome!!!
About a minute after #15 has gone, my mom stops in her car to check on me on her way to run a few erands. After she's gone, I start heading back.
While #15 was on the home stretch, Ella was just starting out. I decided to hold off on following Ella today, since I wanted to focus purely on #15. But I did manage to get her accelerating up my street near the end, so that was a nice bonus!
Also, as I was heading up my street (following #15), I stumbled on a man hole cover and took a dump. But fortunately I caught myself and didn't get hurt, so that was good!
Well, that pretty much sums up #15 for today! I hope you enjoy this amazing video of #15 doing my route once again! Comments greatly appreciated! And stay tuned for the compost - you won't want to miss that one!
