Points: Points can be used to redeem song requests and other potential additional awards in the future. You get one point for every 5 minutes of being a viewer during live streams, and 1 point for every 10 minutes of watching a video of the channel that is not live. You become a regular viewer at 2 hours, and perks are cheaper. Sponsors get a large bonus and have the cheapest perks, and super chats also award extra points.
