Gordon Ryan IBJJF 411 Study Part 2 - Completing the Sweep and Getting on Top
Description
Getting the the 411 position is not enough, in order to secure points in a BJJ competition we need to get on top and complete the sweep. In this video I break down the 2 main directions we can roll to secure top position.
Gordon Ryan used the 411 leg lock position (Saddle, Cross Ashi Garami, Inside Sankaku, Honey Hole, etc) to out grapple his opponents at Nogi Worlds. In this series I will breakdown in detail how "The King" Gordon Ryan used this position within an IBJJF legal rule set covering how to control the position, how to sweep, how to pass, take down a standing opponent, and a cool trouble shooting play with the bear trap. Enjoy!
