Government working with employers to prepare for return of foreign workers from China: Lawrence Wong

The Singapore authorities are working with employers of the 30,000 work pass holders who are still in China, to prepare for their return. This was revealed in Parliament by Mr Lawrence Wong, who co-chairs a multi-ministry task force tackling the spread of the novel coronavirus. In a ministerial statement, he also disclosed that 222 people are in government quarantine facilities. Another 302 are quarantined at home.
