Guy Builds Mind-Blowing Floating Table

Known as a tensegrity table, this man has built a structure which has a base with a flat top but only chains supporting the entire build.

Peter Redding shows off his impressive table from his backyard in Adelaide, Australia, explaining the elements he used top build the floating piece.

Peter is able to stand on the table and even hold the table on it’s side in the floating state.

Tensegrity (tensile and intergrity) is achieved through the middle chain attached to the table which hangs from base that then transfers the tension to the rest of the table and external chains.
