HAND LAYING FIBERGLASS on Dream Boat | Ep. 2
Description
In today's episode of our Dream Boat Series, we head back to the Latitude Boats Factory in Fort Myers, Florida and begin the lamination process. In this process the fiberglass is hand laid using two layers of one and half ounce. This is referred to as the skin-coat which is the top gel coat layer that acts begins the bonding.
In the next steps, we will applying the structural lamination, building the transom and stringers.
