Hauling Mom's Christmas Tree with My Pro Street '67 Firebird: Finnegan's Garage Ep.122
Description
Mom needed her Christmas tree brought home and I needed to test drive my barn-find 1967 Pontiac Firebird aka The Rubber Duck after installing a Blower Shop 8-71 Supercharger and dual Quickfuel carburetors. So we did both. And we did burnouts with the Christmas tree on the roof of the car and it was epic! Here's the details on the car:
I found it in a barn behind Paradise Dragstrip in Calhoun, Georgia. The owner's wife was kind enough to sell it to me and with the help of my friends we got it running after it had sat dormant for 16 years. There are two new episodes of Roadkill on the Motor Trend App about rescuing and road-tripping the Firebird.
Since then, I've replaced the broken BBC with another big-block chevy that came out of Newbern's Nova. I had it rebuilt and we just put a used Blowershop supercharger on top to complete the old school Pro Street vibe of this awesome car. Behind the engine is a Gearstar TH400 with a transbrake and a Gear Vendors Over/Undrive unit and a Dana 60 rear axle filled with goodies from Quick Performance. It has 3.73 gears and a limited slip differential.
I haven't dynod the engine yet but i will in an upcoming video. Want a Firebird shirt? go here: https://www.fsmgarage.com/products/the-rubber-duck-tee
