Chilli Momos
Ingredients

Sesame oil - 2 Tbsp
Garlic
Onion
Capsicum
Chili paste - 2 Tbsp
Tomato ketchup - 3 Tbsp
Soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
Salt
Pepper

For Dough
Maida - 2 cups
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 Tsp
Water

For Filling
Onion
Carrot
Beans
Garlic
Ginger
Cabbage
Capsicum
Salt to taste
Pepper




Tandoori Momo

Tandoori momo is a spicy and extremely flavorful Indian Street Food. It is a unique twist to the veg momos. It is usually grilled on skewers, but am going to show you guys how to make this on stove top. Serve it hot along with chaat masala, sliced onions, lemon wedges and coriander leaves.

Prep time: 30 mins
Cook time: 30 mins
Number of servings: 4-5 persons

Ingredients

For the dough

Maida - 2 cup
Salt to taste
Water

For Filling

Onion - 1/2 cup
Carrot - 1/4 cup
Beans - 1/4 cup
Garlic - 1 TBSP
Ginger - 1 TBSP
Cabbage - 1/4 cup
Capsicum - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste - 1/2 TSP
Pepper


For the marinade

Besan- 4 tbsp
salt - 1 tsp
Kashmiri Red Chili Powder - 2 tsp
Black Salt - 1/2 tsp
Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Kasoori methi - 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp ( finely chopped )
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
hung curd - 4 tbsp
1 piece Charcoal
Ghee - 1/2 tsp

For Serving
Onions
Coriander leaves
Lemon Juice
Chaat masala



Method

1.Mix maida with oil and salt
2. Knead it for 10 mins and make small balls out of it
3. Mix all the ingredients for the filling
4. Roll out the dough into small disc like shapes
5. Place the filling in it and fold it into a momo
6. Repeat the same process for all the momos
7. Deep fry the momos in batches and set them aside
8. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients required for the marinade
9. Add the deep fried momos into the bowl and mix well
10. Place the live charcoal, add some ghee and close it with a lid and infuse the momos for about 10-15 mins
11. Add some oil into a pan, add pan roast the marinated momos
12.Serve them hot along with chaat masala, sliced onions, lemon wedges and coriander leaves
