#Hemi Thermostat Replacement Fast!

Replacement of Thermostat took me under 10 minutes!
Clean up and bleeding the coolant system is for another episode! :)

Tools:
13mm Socket for Thermostat Housing Bolts
1/4" or 3/8" (1/2" sockets may not fit diameter wise)
1/4" Allen Key for Water Pump Plug (Teflon tape optional, the tapered threads should be enough, Teflon Tape added for extra insurance)
Vice Grips or Pliers to remove stubborn thermostat.
Flat head screw driver or similar
Rags and low profile buckets (Tuperware etc. I used my low profile Oil catcher!)
Orange OEM Coolant

Steps Below:
1. Clear work area for access to the thermostat housing & located thermostat housing at the front of the engine.
2. Cover engine parts with rags and place low profile buckets underneath the engine bay to catch the old coolant.
3. Remove Reservoir Cap.
3. Remove the two 13mm bolts from the thermostat housing.
4. Use Flathead screwdriver or something similar to pry thermostat housing off.
5. Make not of the original position of the thermostat.
6. Use Vice Grips or Pliers to remove thermostat.
7. Install thermostat in OEM position.
8. Install Thermostat housing with 13mm bolts.
9. Remove water pump plug.
10.Add Orange OEM coolant until coolant flows out of water pump plug hole.
11. Quickly Install water pump plug.
12. Top up coolant reservoir tank.
13. Run Engine with reservoir cap off & the Heater on full for about 30 minutes.
14. Monitor engine temperature and ensure that it is steady below 100 Degrees Celsius or 210 Degrees Fahrenheit .
15. Install reservoir cap.
16. Go for spirited test drive close to home!
