High-End 3950X PC Build for Video Editing, 3D Animation | Workstation Build $2200-$2500
Description
This high-end PC build is meant for production and workstation tasks, including video editing (Premiere), 3D modeling, or similar. It'd also do well as a gaming PC build for a secondary task.
Sponsor: Corsair Virtuoso Wireless Headset (Amazon - https://geni.us/5T4Rm)
Depending on how you choose the parts below -- we've provided alternatives to some of the components -- you end up between $2150 and $2450 for the build. The motherboard could be cut down in cost a lot (alternatives below) and the RAM could be cut to 16GB, although we wouldn't recommend it for a production machine. The cooler could also be cut in cost, but then you'd want to buy a bigger case, as the P400A won't clear a lot of the good air coolers.

PSU: Sales keep fluctuating. We originally had a $70 SuperNova 850, but price has gone up now. The Seasonic Focus Gold 650 would be good and is on a bigger sale than the SuperNova was (Newegg) - https://geni.us/PJo7kS7
GPU: RTX 2080 SUPER XC Non-Ultra is a bit cheaper (Amazon) - https://geni.us/K94T0B
SSD: Plenty of options out there. If you're getting rid of the HDD cage, might want to go 1TB here and use a NAS for the rest. Sabrent 1TB Rocket isn't bad (Amazon) - https://geni.us/FWju
