The nation is the number one honey producer in Europe and they generally produce 65,000 to 75,000 tons per year. Half of this honey prıduction is usually exported. Beekeeping in Ukraine has become a major economic activity and around 2% of the total population is involved in beekeeping practices.

8-Brazil
Brazil is abundant with biodiversity, which makes the country's geographic position proper and suitable habitat for the bees. Brazil honey is one of the luxury kinds of honey on the market since most beekeepers use African bees that are resistant to disease and virüs. So they don't need any pesticides to help the bees survive.

7-Mexico
They normally export over 40,000 tons of honey, valued over $150 million (= avg $3,750/ton). The country produces about 57, 000- 62,000 tons of honey per annum and honey production is on the rise over the last decade. About 43,000 beekeepers run more than 1.9 million hives in the region.

6-India
Honey and beekeeping have a long history dating back in India and this can be traced to Mesolithic-Era rock paintings that you can find in Madhya Pradesh depicting honey collection practices. The country has enormous potential for honey production as it has more than 500 wild and cultivated species of plants that are a good source of nectar and pollen.

5-Russian Federation
Throughout Russia honey is made not only for importation but also for domestic use of honey on goods such as tea, medicine, counseling, chocolate, bread, and other products. Russia produces more than 95,000 tons of honey throughout an excess of $65 million annually (= avg $684/ton, which is very low).

4-Iran
There are about 75,000 recorded people involved in the beekeeping industry and there are about 6.7 million colonies throughout the country. Iran is said to produce about 79,000 tons of honey on an annual basis and sells about 5,000 tons on the global market. Honey production in the country is projected to rise between 5%-10% per year.

3-USA
There are about 115,000-130,000 beekeepers in the U.S. Although they don't have many hives, they have an average of 30 hives per person for those who take it as a hobby. However, they have around 400 hives for those who are in commercial business. Approximately 2.8 million colonies produce about 165 million pounds of honey every year. Americans consume about 500 million pounds of honey every year at home. This demand for honey can only be filled with its importation. Most of the honey is distributed in networks of the retail market while others are used in the food industry. Honey production in the U.S. is growing relative to last years and it could soon be the top producer of honey in the world.

While Turkey intends also for export, the country is a huge consumer of honey. The country produces about 115,000 metric tons of honey annually. The important reason Turkey's honey to be so sweet and of the highest quality is due to the majority of its bees are to be from Caucasia Region.
