How to adjust NA NB Miata soft and hard top latches

This video shows how to adjust the ingenious latches used to secure the soft top (capote) or hardtop to the windshield (and side mounts for the hard top) of a Mazda Mx5. The operation is straightforward and the only tool you may need is a 10mm wrench. Play with the latch until you find the right set-up! At the end of the video you'll find a POV view of the whole process, i filmed the rest with the top open for practicality's sake

00:25 Step 2: Adjusting the length of the latch (a 10mm spanner may be needed). If the latch is too hard to close or doesn't reach the retaining hook you need to loosen the latch (the screw will "fall" deeper into the hole, as shown). If the soft top is too lose or the latch closes almost effortlessly you need to slight tighten it (the screw will "rise" from the same hole).
