Description

You can purchase a written pattern for $3.5 here:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/775405733/crochet-easy-hat-pattern-crochet-beanie?ref=shop_home_active_1
You will need:
lace weight yarn - I used Nako Angora Luks
(10% mohair, 10% wool, 80% premium acrylic, 100 g - 550 m)
6 mm and 3 mm crochet hooks
Yarn needle
scissors

Hat size:
Teen size – head circumference 21 inches, hat height 10 inches

How to adjust the size:
First chain is hat height,
by adding rows, you add circumference

Hat size guide:
Newborns

Baby - 3 to 6 months

Baby - 6 to 12 months
Head Circumference: 16-19 inches (41-48 cm); Hat height 7.5 inches (18 cm)

Head Circumference: 18-20 inches (46-48 cm); Hat height 8 inches (20 cm)
Child (4 - 9 years)
Head Circumference: 19- 20 ½ inches (49-52 cm); Hat height 8.5 inches (22 cm)
10 years through Teens
Head Circumference: 20 1/2- 22 inches (52-56 cm) Hat height 9-10 inches (23-26 cm)
Adult Woman
Head Circumference: 21.5-22.5 inches (55-57 cm); Hat height 11 inches (28 cm)
Adult Man
Head Circumference: 23-24 inches (58-61 cm); Hat height 11-11.5 inches (28-29.5 cm)

Notes:
The hat is worked in rows and then joined sides together.
This stitch stretches a lot
I used 6mm and 3mm crochet hooks because I wanted the top of the hat to be smaller.
Always work in both loops at the end of the row. So, you will have a clear edge.
Work very loosely!

Stitches used:
Ch – chain
Ss – slip stitch
Ss in back loop – slip stitch in back loop
Ss in front loop – slip stitch in front loop
