How to do, Around the Net Table Tennis Shot - Side, Side Top & Side Back Tutorial by eBaTT

Today we focused on playing the special and unique shot 'AROUND the NET' and we show you a few variations of the shot.

Tip 1
Practice the stroke by getting another player to feed you and provide an open-angle. The aim is to cock your wrist and wrap your bat around the ball creating side spin which makes the ball bend in the air.

Tip 2
Try to generate as much side spin as possible by accelerating at point of contact

Tip 3
Developing pure sidespin, then side spin topspin and lastest which requires lots of practice and great timing, backspin sidespin.

Enjoy the stroke and develop it as an artistic stroke, by using it on occasion and in an emergency situation.
