How to make pattern for pants
Use only waist measurement-30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44 steps by step
So Today I will make 30 waists

Measures: medium fit waist-30
Length as you needs waist hip thigh crotch length leg
38 30+6 =36 24 23 ¼” 16

Note: thigh and crotch length we find after making pattern.

Start drafting: from 0 Point:
We will mark horizontal line this is waist line.
Mark vertical this is pant side line.
1, first crotch height and how to we calculate that?
Hip 36/4=9 including waist band.
Mark horizontal line this is the thigh line
2, front thigh how to we find it hip-36/3=12 less 1cm=11 5/8
3, front fork width how to we find working scale/8th=2 .1/4”less 1cm
4, hip placement FM crotch up how to we find hip-36/12=3 mark horizontal line
5 mark a line fm fork point to top waist this front rise.
6, ½” inward front waist,
7, mark front rise line hip to waist
8, make front fork line.
9, ¾” down front rise at waist this is standard
10, make front waist 30/4=7 ½”+1” margin.
11, mark front hip outside line to down thigh point
12, mark middle of thigh this is pant crease line
13- Measure and take middle mark to side of thigh
14- Go to down ward make same straight for pant crease line.
15- Make pant length including waist band as you needs I give 38”+1/2”=38 ½”
16, mark horizontal this is bottom hem line
17, add 1 ½” margin
18, make front bottom 16/2=8/2=4 mark each side of crease line.
19, put measurement tap bottom to crotch point at inseam ¾”mark inward
20, put measurement tap bottom to crotch point at outside ¾”mark inward
21, mark pants outside line Bottom to thigh point
23, mark pants inseam line Bottom to front crotch point
24, make front pocket opening length 6 ½”at side and width 1 ½” at waist seam.
End draft pant front part now cutting

Now Back
1, lay paper on table
2, take front part put on paper for the make back part
3, mark horizontal line same front bottom knee and thigh
3, draw same as front bottom and outside up to thigh
4, add 1 ½” toward at back inseam mark bottom to knee
5, now back crotch and back fork how to we find that working scale 18/8th=2 ¼”+1cm=2 5/8”add toward front crotch for back crotch
6, mark back inseam knee to crotch point
7, mark vertical line same as front rise upward to waist for back rise
8, 1 ½” upward from front waist this is standard
9, now back waist including dart and seam margin 7 ½”+1”dart+1”seam=9 ½”
10, now make half hip 36/2=18
12, now we measure front hip less 1” seam margin=8 ¾”and take it
13, now half hip including front hip 8 ¾”=18+1/2”=18 ½”x2=37” one inch seam shrinkage
14, mark back hip outside line
15, make back dart length 2 ½”below waist seam middle of waist line
16, mark dart depth 1”
17-make back pocket opening 5”x1/2”
