How To Make Silicone Dice Molds in a Pressure Pot

In this video we test if pressure curing silicone molds is equally as viable as using a vacuum chamber for bubble free pressure casting!

Ever since I put out my original Pressure Pot and Vacuum Chamber series, and pretty much every video since then, people have been asking if you could cure the molds in the pressure pot in the same way that you cure the resin that you use. I had heard from other folks that this is how they cure their molds rather than waste money on a vacuum chamber, since a pressure pot can do 2 job, so I figured that I better give it a shot!

It turns out, it really works about the same! I noticed no discernible difference between my two molds after their first use. Now, I'll have to get into a dozen tests or so to truly say if there is vs isn't a difference, but that update will come in the future! For now, go crazy with your DIY molds, because they work just fine under pressure. :)
