While Landlords can also benefit, the tenant will benefit more. This video or list in not-exhaustive and special cases will add special conditions and more points of course.
1) View the property and all amenities (several times if you have to to be sure exactly what you are getting).
2) Check Documents of the Owner (title deed, and also as for the passport copy).
3) Make a written offer and clarify all IMPORTANT terms as best as possible.
4) Prepare Cheque and Sign the Tenancy Agreement. Review agreement properly.
5) Landlord shall counter sign the Tenancy Agreement
6) Take Documents to get Registration done (EJARI)
7) Connect Water/Electricity and Chiller Services for AC (if applicable).
8) Formal Handover
9) Apply for Move-in Permit
10) Request a grace period for moving -in (extra days)
Bonus Point: Negotiate with Landlord an Annual Maintenance Agreement - so that you have a company on call 24/7 to respond to your requests for maintenance, etc.
