How To Set Up Your Savings and Sinking Funds | 2020 Financial Goals | Aja Dang

Hi! I'm Aja Dang and this is how I'm setting up my savings and sinking funds account. Now that I've paid off my debts, it's time to start to save up for my fully funded emergency savings fund, while also saving up for some future financial goal in my sinking funds account. Now it's finally time to solidify my financial security.

I'm putting both my savings and sinking funds in Empower Auto Savings and Checking accounts. Empower is a mobile app that some of you recommended to me last year. I've decided to put my funds in the Empower account because of the high interest APY on automated savings and checking (1.60% APY) with no minimum balance. Plus the budgeting and spend tracking tools are probably one of the better interfaces that I've dealt with over the past two years.
