NEVER Touch These Trees One Of Them Can Actually Kill You!
Usually when we talk about dangerous living beings, we refer to animals. Big jaws, fast speeds, poisonous bites ...many of them have all the necessary tools to cause some serious damage to humans, and sometimes, even kill us. However, animals are not the only ones that can affect our lives. You might not be aware of this but there are also some plants that can cause the same amount of damage (or perhaps even more) and today we’ll learn a bit more about them. So, get ready for “10 Dangerous Trees that You Want to Avoid” - I’ll tell you all about where they are and how they can harm you. You’ll be surprised to see that more than just one of them can actually kill you. The one at the top even holds a Guinness World Record for being the most dangerous one!
Coconut Tree
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNNpeTxDKqA)
I am sure you were not expecting to start this list with a tree that is known by many of us: The Coconut tree. In fact, we all have had coconut at some point in our lives. Its water is refreshing and full of nutrients that are good for our body; and the meat is also tasty and a great ingredient for cooking. Coconut milk, coconut oil, coconut candy - there are so many ways to benefit from it! So how come the tree made it to this list? Well, the danger comes when you stand too close to the tree at the wrong time. Each coconut can weigh as much as 1.5 kilos each. Now, imagine the strength of that weight falling down on you from as high as 20 or even 30 meters high! That's enough to cause a serious concussion and sometimes, even death. These trees are along the tropics and sometimes you'll see signs that warn you against the falling coconuts. And still, some people have walked near them, not aware that a falling coconut was going to end their lives. So watch out and stand at a distance!
Othalanga Tree
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=965g2ajUnKE)
The Othalanga, also known as "Suicide Tree", looks very harmless and inoccent that it makes you wonder why would someone name it like that. However, when you see the power of some toxic chemicals inside of it, you realize that the Othalanga is a plant you don't want to mess with. It's so toxic that it's been used in India, its native country, as a way to keep intruders away through the form of a hedge around private properties. Although the plant is incredibly toxic, its flavor is not a strong as other plants in the region where it grows. In fact, it was used to murder people by poisoning their meals and sadly, it's been also used by some to take their own lives. The tree also grows in Madagascar. In the past, during the witch trials, there were many "trial by ordeal" deaths that involved eating this plant.
Strychnine Tree
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strychnos_nux-vomica)
If you heard about Strychnine before, you probably thought it was some sort of strange chemical produced in a secret lab somewhere in the world. However, this chemical comes from nature. And it’s produced by a tree that you might want to stay away from. This tree is also native to India and some parts of Southeast Asia, and it's known for its dangerous effects. It is the source of a poisonous substance that has been used to kill animals and sometimes, it's also been used by some evil people who want to end the lives of their enemies. Yikes!
This tree looks ordinary, and you wouldn't think it's capable of such deadly chaos, until you see the thick leaves on its branches and the dark seeds in them. Those seeds are the carriers of the poison and ingesting one of them can cause you dizziness, cramps, pain in your eyes and paralysis. But not everything about this plant is bad news. Strychnine has been used to treat cancer, so it seems that some good can actually come out of all this toxicity.
Bunya Pine

I get how coconuts can be dangerous due to their weight, but did you ever consider pinecones to be dangerous as well? I'm sure sure not. But when you look at the prehistoric Bunya Tree, you might change your mind. The pinecones from this monstrous tree can be as heavy as 8 and sometimes even 10 kilos!
