Incredibly Beautiful Country Blue Home | Top Rooms Decorated with Blue

The project, by designer Lígia Casanova , transformed three bedrooms and a living room into a large integrated social area and a single cozy bedroom. In addition to tearing down the walls, Lígia also chose to reveal the original structure of the ceiling, which increased the ceiling height and gave it a more rustic appearance, even painted in white. The same color was chosen for the walls and for the cement floor. "This gave us a feeling of spaciousness and a very beautiful luminosity for the house", says Lígia. Changing the ceiling and floor, which was previously made of wood, were the main challenges for the designer, who had to convince clients that it was a good idea.

Located in Alcácer do Sal, a Portuguese town in the District of Setúbal, Portugal, this house is close to Comporta beach, with its crystal blue waters and white sand. The palette of the paradisiacal setting was transported to the interiors of the 75 m² house, which features high doses of blue and many materials with natural fibers .
