India promises $10 million in emergency funding for South Asia

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held a video conference with leaders of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation on combating COVID-19. One of his proposals was for members to create an emergency fund made up of voluntary contributions. Modi said India would provide the first 10 million U.S. dollars.
