What is HTML?

Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is one of the most common languages. If you’re interested in becoming a web developer, or even if you occasionally need to edit website content, you’ll want to learn HTML.

The structure of HTML includes an opening tag, content, and closing tag. These three features make up a basic H1 element. A more complex element includes an attribute as well. We’ll show you how to use all of these features to build the basic structure of a website.

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) has become one of the most popular coding languages. Just about any developer will use CSS at some point in their career. CSS is often used in combination with HTML. With CSS, you can customize the style of your site.
