Investment Strategy That Beat Warren Buffett Since 2009!
Description
I backdated performance from 2009 through 2019 on this portfolio and the results shocked me.
I'm documenting my process of incorporating behavioral economics into my investment strategy. I took a list at the top employers listed each year by Glassdoor.com and ran a backdated performance report on those lists.
I went in skeptical of what I would find, but was pleasantly surprised.
ESG (environmental, social, and governance) has been around for awhile in finance. The field as grown in recent years. More and more investors want to invest in companies that do good. There hasn't been much coordination across the industry on how to implement these strategies, though, and it could be argued some investment companies just check the box of ESG to be on trend.
I believe there's an opportunity to lead with ESG in the investment process. Specifically, with regard to employee motivation. The field of behavioral economics is merging with finance and the results are exciting.
