Tamil Nadu: The father-son custodial death case had stirred controversy and highlighted the existing police brutality in India. The two had been taken into custody for violating the lockdown rules laid down by the government. The two men were allegedly thrashed to death and violated when they were in custody.
The top cop who was accused and arrested in the father-son custodial death case has now succumbed to COVID-19. The family members of the cop Pauldurai were informed about his death due to Coronavirus.
