This talk presents the FHIR Terminology Service, starting with the different usage scenarios for using it – from clinical data entry, to analytics, to authoring your own terminology resources, including defining terminology bindings for profiles and implementation guides, to integrating terminology when building other kinds of FHIR servers. We then show you the different parts of the Terminology API, and how they can be used to help you solve these problems, and some of the governance issues you should consider when you do.
