Talent , 2014 under the name Talang Sverige , is a Swedish competition program where people and groups with different talents compete to become that year's talent. In the competition, talents are further voted through various steps until you have only the winner left. The program is a Swedish version of the American publisher America's Got Talent , created by Simon Cowell's production company Sycos. Sycos has also been behind the program format X Factor and Idol-franchiset. The program has one or more program managers as well as a jury. From the start, it is the jury that decides which talents will advance in the competition, after which it is the viewers who take over the power, first partly in the semi-finals and then completely in the final.
The Swedish version premiered in TV4 in the spring of 2007 with the name Talang , and then aired every spring until 2011 . Then the program was closed for an indefinite future because the channel wanted to focus on other entertainment programs. Two years later, on June 19, 2013, TV3 announced that it had purchased the rights to Talang, and that it would broadcast a new season in the spring of 2014 , under the new name Talang Sweden In the spring of 2017 , TV4 began broadcasting the program again, under the original title Talang . Season 9of Talang premiered in January 2019 and the beginning 2020 auditions.
