*General Notes / TL;DR*:
Bringing in a new razor for the Nacet, and trying a very interesting scent from Chiseled Face.
Gearhead paired nicely with Texas on Fire splash! OD on manliness today!
*Razor and Blade Notes* - Gillette - Aristocrat 1936 ::: Gillette - Nacet (M) (218 uses):
Great shave. Just a bit of tugging on the first pass, and then comfort after that. Did take 2 touch-up passes to get the tough neck hairs. But with a soap that smells as good as this one, I don't mind.
No irritation, and barely any stinging with the Alc-splash.
*Soap Notes* - Chiseled Face - Gearhead:
Them: "motor oil, new tires, and leather"
Scent: motor oil was a little subdued, but I clearly got leather and tires. Tremendous scent. Love it.
The lather performance of CF is not top-tier, but neither is the price. However, the creative, manly, and intriguing scents from them are top-tier in my book. Superb.
Scent Strength: 5/10, present during shaving.
Lather: As usual, a nice slick lather from CF that felt good on the face and protected well. It's not creamy, but it's also fairly inexpensive, so it's still a good value.
Hydration: Perfect (for me)
* 40 sec load with a Lightly-Wet brush
* 4.5 tsp added to make lather
* = 7 passes of lather
Bowl: Roger Quintero 3D Printed Bowl XL

*Brush Notes* - Semogue - 1438 Boar (13 uses):
Soft tips now, and many tips not yet split. med-high backbone, but the tips make it a joy to use. Not scratchy at all.
**Shave Quality**
During the Shave Feel:
Cheeks: Just a little tugging
Neck: Just a little tugging
After the Shave Closeness:
Cheeks: Very Close Shave
Neck: Several hairs are showing some tip length (still a pretty good shave)
