Katelyn Tuohy: 2019-20 Gatorade National Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year
Description
Katelyn Tuohy just made history…again.
After winning the Nike Cross Nationals, as well as a Class A state championship for the North Rockland High School Red Raiders (N.Y.), she won her third consecutive Gatorade National Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year award!
Add this most recent accolade to her Gatorade National Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year honor from the 2017-2018 season, as well as a 2018 Gatorade Athlete of the Year title, and it’s clear that Katelyn has established herself as one of the most accomplished Gatorade Player of the Year athletes of all time! Her unbeatable work ethic, steadfast endurance, and rock-solid nerve have attracted the attention of some of the nation’s top collegiate programs, including North Carolina State, where she has signed a letter of intent to continue her phenomenal career next year.
With a stellar “A “ average in the classroom and a record of helping young Track and Field competitors with their own athletic goals, there’s no doubt that Katelyn Tuohy is the very definition of a Gatorade Player of the Year. The only question for this future superstar is: what’s next?
