Since the arrival of the 2008 Ninja 250R, the 250cc full-fairing
sports class has been dominated by Twins. But a new contender
for the 250cc crown has arrived. Kawasaki is proud to present
the Ninja ZX-25R, an all-new 250cc supersport model powered by
the only In-Line Four engine in its class*. A shining example of
the performance offered by Ninja ZX machines, this long-awaited
model was created for discerning, sports-minded customers
longing for a racy street machine with high circuit-riding potential.

Befitting the most powerful machine in the 250cc class, the Ninja ZX-25R’s aggressive Ninja styling exudes a fierce aura of restrained power and explosive action. A trademark feature of Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX models, the Ram Air intake prominently located at the centre of the upper cowl instantly sets the Ninja ZX-25R apart from other 250cc class models. Twin LED headlights help the Ninja ZX-25R stand out while providing excellent illumination, and a sharp chin spoiler contributes to the strong Ninja family image.

Large-diameter front disc gripped by a radial-mount monobloc caliper and complemented by a large-diameter rear disc offer strong stopping power and deliver superb brake touch, helping riders set precise corner speeds on the track and facilitating control when navigating city traffic.

The Ninja ZX-25R’s In-Line Four engine – the key to its exhilarating riding impact – delivers performance that eclipses the rest of the 250cc field. Developed with feedback from other Ninja ZX supersport machines, the all-new engine offers a quick-revving nature, direct throttle response, and a flexible character that combines strong low-mid range torque that facilitates city riding and screaming high-rpm power that can be enjoyed when sporting or track riding. Sophisticated instrument design features a large analogue tachometer flanked by warning lamps on one side, and a gear position indicator and multi-function LCD screen on the other. High-tech electronic rider support features like traction control, power mode selection and a quick shifter make it even easier to enjoy the Ninja ZX-25R's exciting In-Line Four engine performance. Developed with feedback from other Ninja ZX models, the high-performance engine offers class-leading power and a rev-range that extends beyond 17,000 rpm.

The Ninja ZX-25R’s ø37 mm inverted fork uses SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork – Big Piston) internals. Combining the concepts of Showa SFF and BPF, this advanced fork offers both racetrack performance and everyday usability. At the rear, Horizontal Back-link rear suspension offers a progressive character that contributes to the bike’s supersport-style handling. Both make their debut in the 250cc class.
