KSS 570 Indicator!! | 2010 KONE MonoSpace @ Chartwell Shopping Centre, Hamilton

If I hadn't watched Lift & Rail Photography In NZ's lift tour of this place, than I absolutely wouldn't have expected this! This might be the only elevator in NZ with KSS 570 indicator! Although I know Australia has quite a few of these. That is, KSS 570/670 indicator paired with KDS 300-AUS buttons. However, this elevator also has KSS 470 call buttons on all floors except 3! This elevator was installed in 2010, when this extension part of the shopping centre was built. I find it a bit weird how the other wings use Schindler while this extension wing uses KONE. At first, I had to get out on 3 due to some other people going down to 1, but upon arriving I found that you can't call the elevator from the top floor (or so it seemed at the time... turns out you can still call the lift, the call button just doesn't light up), so I had to use the "man-powered elevator" next to it to get back down! The floor numbering is pretty interesting on this side — 1 is the underground carpark, 1M (denoted M on the buttons and indicator) is street level, 2 is shopping mall level (same as the other side), and 3 is the rooftop carpark! Once again, it should be B, 1, 2, 3, not 1, M, 2, 3 because at the moment it is quite weird that M is the main floor! This elevator is also pretty busy, but definitely the best elevator in the entire mall!
