This video is designed to provide some tips and tricks for those planning to visit Las Vegas. Primarily focused at first time visitors or those who want to do some background research prior to going. This is only my opinion and Vegas is continually changing on a weekly basis!

Hope you enjoy it.

As promised in the video please see a list of Bars and Restraints that we have enjoyed (not sponsored in any way - all based on our personal experiences).

Bars:-
There are some awesome bars around and about, you can’t really go wrong but here are some really good ones that we like:
Skybar (Waldorf Astoria)). Its a little pricey ($8 Beer $15 large cocktail) but a high quality bar. It is on about the 23rd floor of the WA. Go to the entrance lobby of the hotel, press for the sky lobby and when you get up there turn left and when you are past the “gold wall” turn right. Great cocktails and awesome mid strip views. Its quite a classy joint so probably more than a jeans and T-Shirt dress code.
Skyfall bar (Delano hotel). This has the best views of the lot (in my opinion). Its on the 63rd floor of the Delano hotel, again a little pricey but well worth it. Would say to get there for dusk is best as you see the entire strip night and day.
Lagasse’s stadium (Palazzo). This is tucked away in the basement of the Palazzo its an all round sports bar. If you want to see any sport thats your place! Just ask them at the bar and they will change the channels etc, they will have most premiership games. Reasonably cheap drinks and food (Big portions).
Not sure of the Streets name but it is the Street from the strip to the high roller (Big wheel) - Lined with bars and restaurants, would recommend the yard house (they have about 150 different beers) and get a Very big drink, they serve half yards!
Beer Park (PARIS), out the front of the Paris but up a level.
Time Square Bar NYNY, great for a night out and a sing song, although would recommend being drunk and you will have a great night with atmosphere.
Chandelier bar (cosmopolitan) - good bar to watch the world go by
The Doorsey (Venetian) - not been in this one yet but looks very funky but probably a bit pricey.
There is a bar in Caesars Palace (on the right of the checkin desks as you look at them). Its a standard bar but we like having a drink or two and people watch as they walk by - some really funny sights and characters.

Restaurants:
Tender (Luxor), big high quality steaks, a little pricy but good vibe and good quality meat
Gallagher's (New York New York), same as above but a little cheaper, i would recommend the dry aged T-bone in this one!
Noodle Bar (Bellagio), this is tucked on the side of the casino. From reception go on to the gaming floor and keep on the left hand wall. Brilliant Chinese food and really quite reasonably priced. You can’t book this one and the queue’s can get quite long so worth getting here either early or late.
Earl Of Sandwich (Planet Hollywood) fast food really but good quality - imaging a high end subway, great for a late nigh drunk snack or a quick bite as your passing.
Egg slut (cosmopolitan) awesome egg based breakfasts - massive que’s most of the time shows how good it is.
Maggiano’s (fashion mall), Italian restaurant - HUGE portions and really well priced, if you time it with happy hour its a really cheap but good quality meal
Guy Fieri’s vegas kitchen (LINQ) good food, cheap priced.
Chin Chins (NY NY) cheap buffet style breakfast, all you can eat
Haviers (ARIA) great Mexican with a very cool vibe, reasonably priced.
Hash house a go go - In the Quad or Line I think. Likely a big queue but worth the wait. HUGE portions but cheap priced.
Strip House (Planet Hollywood) - NY style steakhouse, great food but they do know how to charge! (have the bacon starter!)

Other stuff:
WiFi is all over the place in Vegas which makes WhatsApp really useful for finding each other!
Download an App called Open table - allows you to book tables for lunch/dinner etc - its free and just makes life easy, if you don’t use it you have lost nothing.
Go up the Eiffel tower (go in the day time) get a great view of Bellagio fountains
Stratosphere - there are rides up there but we also enjoyed the restaurant at the top that revolves (book ahead)
Freemont street - good night out but more rough and ready!!
Freemont street - Slotzilla zip wire (book ahead)
Guns!

But in truth you can’t go wrong, if you don’t like somewhere just move on!

Remember you can walk on the streets with glasses and bottles and you can take drinks freely between casinos.
