Let's Play Mortal Kombat 11 Part 9: Nothing F**king Mattered!!! (PS4)

Time for us to wrap up the MK 11 game and generally speaking the title pretty much sums up my thoughts. The thing is, personally, i liked this game, but at the same time its not an especially good story. Mk9 got away with rewriting the MK history because the rewrite happens at the beginning and we still kind of go into the events from mk 1-3 with changes, mkx was all about the new generation and while not written well, the story wasnt bad because we knew what it was going to do. MK 11 has a lot of good elements and moments and plenty of potential but the story is pretty weak (in my opinion). Nothing gets all that deep, half the characters from the mk 9 and 10 arent even seen nor mentioned and its pretty paper thin. it feels like something was missing even though alot was going on. on top of that the plot didnt make any sense, it also didnt matter. it seems like they were trying to do a lot of big things but never capitalized on it except to bookend things which, again, didnt matter by the end of it. I dont know im sure there are others that can go into much further depth but ultimately this game kinda goes both ways for me. i've been a fan of the MK series since i was kid, and maybe its because im older, but not alot of this particular game sticks with me. the fatalites, fatal blows, the story, the fight choreography, all of that was fiine but, it can get old fast whereas the others didnt. I will eventually add this to my collection sure but i cant help but feel like there was much more this game could have offered. Anyways, feel free to join us again for more games. im sorry the camera aims too low and you can hear the noises in the background towards the end, due to reasons we had to shoot the last half of the game somewhere else so it was a little different to work with and things were out of our control, but we do hope that you like the game and join us for more games in the very near future. who knows what we play next maybe it will be one of your childhood games :) subscribe to find out for yourself! till the next time we see you guys fans boys and gals :)
