Description for competition:

I choose the topic of "Life of a Scientist" to briefly outline how scientists conduct experiments in order for them to gain results that may be put on funding grants, thesis documents, scientific papers and others. It begins with a normal typical day of a student coming in their office then start the process of an experiment. As shown in order, scientists wear their protective equipment then figure out experiments they need to conduct. For some scientists like microbiologists and cell biologists, they use a sterile cabinet to do specific experiments. What may occur in the background before going into the sterile cabinet are preparations (which appear as flashes in the video). Following experimentation are the results and in many cases requires a computer in order to observe. Experiments do not always go as planned nor do the experiments come out with positive results, as shown by the frustration of the scientist. Finally, files received from computer may come up as corrupt, due to some accident that may not be known and it is important to always back up data through multiple sources to avoid this.
