Hey fam, it's Ally here. I know my videos are typically very positive, colorful, and mostly about fashion, beauty or photography. But life has been turned upside down in the past month. It all started around Chinese New Year when I first heard about people getting sick with the Coronavirus. My parents asked that I send masks to my family in Hong Kong. They left for a cruise in February and my grandma became extremely anxious and sick and I had to care for her. After my birthday party in March, the news of the virus coming to San Francisco began to escalate. Stop hoarding toilet paper and supplies! Let's do our part in social distancing and flatten the curve.

Stay tuned for next week's vlog with the new Monday, March 16 orders a shelter in place — the strictest measure of its kind yet in the continental United States — directing everyone to stay inside their homes and away from others as much as possible for the next three weeks as public health officials desperately try to curb the rapid spread of coronavirus across the region, involving San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Marin, Contra Costa and Alameda counties — a combined population of more than 6.7 million. It is to stay in place until at least April 7.
