Liverpool have enjoyed a ridiculously good start to their Premier League 2019/20 season. Jurgen Klopp’s team are unbeaten after 11 games, winning 10 and opening up a 6 point lead over Manchester City and it’s only November! Could this be the team to finally deliver a long awaited Premier League title to Anfield? With a side stacked with the quality of PFA 2019 winner Virgil van Dijk and their world class front three of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah the reds would seem to be in a great position to win the title.

Manchester City have already lost two Premier League games (they only lost four in the whole of last season), Pep Guardiola will be disappointed to find himself six points behind Liverpool, but does his side have the advantage over a full season? Key players have been injured including Leroy Sane, Aymeric Laporte and now Oleksandr Zinchenko. The centre back position is especially key, meaning after the retirement in the summer of Vincent Kompany, Guardiola has had to resort to starting defensive midfielders Rodri and Fernandinho as centre backs in recent games. Now Pep Guardiola finds himself with his make-shift centre back Rodri also out injured! David Silva is at this point expected to miss the game at Anfield and will be another key miss. Can Man City overcome their injury issues and be the first side to win at Anfield in 45 Premier League games?

How would you rank both squads? We’ve ranked all 41 players to appear for the clubs so far this season in the Premier League. Let us know your picks below!
