Lonavla (Marathi: लोणावळा [loˈɳaʋəɭa] (listen)) is a town and a hill station Municipal Council in Pune district in the Indian State of Maharashtra. It is about 64 kilometres (40 mi) west of modern-day Pune city and 96 kilometres (60 mi) from the city of Mumbai.

6) LOHAGAD FORT - If you love trekking then this is the best place of lonavala to trek. From this place you can see the view of lonavala. Lohagad is one of the many hill forts of Maharashtra state in India. Situated close to the hill station Lonavala and 52 km northwest of Pune, Lohagad rises to an elevation of 1,033 m above sea level. The fort is connected to the neighboring Visapur fort by a small range.

7) PAWNA LAKE - This is the most beautiful lake in lonavala. Most people do camping near to this lake and enjoy the nature. Pawna, which is a famous hill station in Maharashtra. Around Pawna lake, camping is majorly done at 2 points.

8) BHAJA CAVES - This is the place where you can you can see the different structure of caves and the real story of the place. The Bhaja caves are a group of 22 rock-cut caves which are believed to have existed from the times of Hinayana phase of Buddhism, which is of 2nd to 1st century BC. 

9) KARLA CAVES - Karla Cave is the largest Hinayana Buddhist chaitya (temple) in India Travel back in time on this trip to ancient Indian rock-cut caves with the best rock-cut architecture of all times.
