Mama Uganda. A Mother's struggle to support her 38 kids

In Uganda, Mariam Nabatanzi was sold into marriage at the age of 12. A year later, she gave birth to her first twins then more twins, triplets and even quadruplets followed. Mariam gave birth to 44 children in total, of whom 38 survived. Doctors told the fertile mother that an unusually large number of egg cells was the reason for her multiple pregnancies. Since her husband abandoned the family, Mariam has scraped by to support her children.
