Many countries not prepared for outbreak of deadly infectious diseases: Study

Many countries are likely to struggle to deal with a major outbreak of a deadly infectious disease. That is the conclusion from researchers who have published a new index, which ranks the readiness of health systems to cope with a pandemic. Shreya Mukarji, Senior Analyst at the Economist Intelligence Unit, shared her views on the findings.
