Why the name "Marc Cyberston" ? Marc is my first name but I use to want to hide my last name for some reason so I thought of "Cyberston" in .5 seconds. This channel would've been named "ParanormalPleasure" if Google plus didn't screw up with my account.
When and why did you start making Youtube videos? In 2012, I wanted to make a Youtube channel to just give a brofist to Pewdiepie. No joke. 6th grade me was a big fan of Pewdiepie back in 2012 and thought it was worth making a channel just for me to brofist my camera. And then I started to make my "Making Fun Of Unboxing Videos" series which didn't blow up that much but I had a lot of fun making them. Along with the MFOUV series, I was part of the "ranting" community on Facebook, speaking with a bunch of big names at the time such as NateTalksToYou, TakeShotAction, MrRepzion, iMustDestroyAll, and more. I got inspired by their content and also made a few ranting videos, and that's where Marc Cyberston really blew up. Started to make intentionally bad covers that also blew up around my Highschool. I started to try and make serious song edits but my music theory was extremely weak and thus, didn't have anywhere to expand. Around 2016 was when I dove into a multiple personality disorder-like phase. I wanted to be a gaming channel, a music channel, a parody channel, a skit channel. It was a complete mess until my channel didn't follow a theme at all, and still doesn't. I created different personas from different genres of music, to make fun of those genres of music. As an example, Necromaniacs was designed to be repetitive and bad to piece the metal stereotype, and the Tar Boyz was created to make fun of Soundcloud rappers. Metalmento Asylums was a band made up of a friend and I that was just- complete, barbaric nonsense, that didn't even exploit any genre, it was absolutely primitive. Marcapella was my acapella series, where I made repetitive songs using an app called Looper, but it birthed my personal favorite classic in my channel; "Everlasting Core". I made a gaming channel called MarcCyberstonGames, but died immediately. My upload schedule was a total mess, and I could literally go 7 months without uploading, due to being busy, lack of motivation, time crunches, etc. I started to take music more seriously, as music knowledge grew, and I started to want to make actual music. I made a Slipknot guess the song challenge that blew up and went viral. The Marc Micu Experience was the video that made me a tiny bit popular in school, as it traveled through the school like wildfire. I was a part of the school's TV show, Sulli Central, where it made up for all the procrastination in editing and making music. I adopted its show jingle, and Prank Petroski was born. The Prank Petroski series was a huge hit and by far, the peak of my editing career. Prank Petroski finally had its last episode on June 10th, of 2019. Currently, I want to upload more music stuff, and even continue my Cyberston Podcast. I am also currently streaming on Twitch under the name "MarcFromGC", named after my obsession with the steam game, Groove Coaster, a game I reached top 10 global in, and number 1 in Canada. Now I stream Clone Hero, and here we are.
