Jan.02 -- European shares ushered out the decade in style with their biggest annual advance since 2009. The green swept across sectors with every single industry group on the Stoxx 600 climbing in 2019. Financial services, construction, technology, retail and industrials returned more than 30% last year. Telecoms were the biggest laggard with the sector little changed.
