MERRY KERSMAS: Homemade Ornaments!

Hello Loves! Join us in making one of a kind, super special, homemade Christmas ornaments!
These are so precious and SO EASY to make! Hope you can feel our love and holiday spirit!


Salt Dough Ornaments:

2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Salt
1 Cup Cold Water

Preheat oven to 215 Fahrenheit.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the flour and salt.
Next, Slowly pour in the cold water while stirring. Once combined, knead the ball of dough for 5-10 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes. Place a piece of parchment paper down. Lay dough in center. Place another piece of parchment paper on top and begin to roll out. Roll until the dough's thickness is roughly 1/8" (you can make them thicker if you wish). Cut out shapes or designs. Use straw to cut a hole for the string/ribbon.

Place on baking sheet and put in oven for 2 hours. They should feel similar to ceramic once full baked. You shouldn't be able to squish them at all.
Feel free to paint them or leave them bare.
Cover with modpodge for extra safe keeping.




Cinnamon Ornaments:

3/4 Cup of Apple sauce
2 bottles of Cinnamon (2.37 oz bottles works best!) ((Mcormick))

Preheat oven to 215 Fahrenheit.
Mix ingredients together in large bowl. It'll take some time but make sure you use you hands to really combine them. Once combined, Place a piece of parchment paper down. Lay dough in center. Place another piece of parchment paper on top and begin to roll out. Roll until the dough's thickness is roughly 1/4". If it's too thin, the dough with crumble. Cut out shapes or designs. Use straw to cut a hole for the string/ribbon.

Place on baking sheet and put in oven for 2 hours. They should feel similar to ceramic once full baked. You shouldn't be able to squish them at all.
Feel free to paint them or leave them bare.
Cover with modpodge for extra safe keeping.
