Mobility Issues Effects On The Feet: Trimming Fungal Nails For A Patient Who Cannot Care For Himself
A patient in his mid-60s has severe osteoarthritis in his right hip. Due to the pandemic, his surgery has been delayed for the next several months. The resulting pain and stiffness make it impossible for him to reach down and care for his own feet. It is even difficult for him to put on his own shoes. The hip problem caused him to miss some appointments, including his previous podiatry visit. Fortunately, he was able to make this appointment to get his very thick and brittle toenails trimmed.
