Moon Boots’ acclaimed LP ‘Bimini Road’ saw the Brooklyn-based artist on top form. A showcase of his soulful house flair, the album won praise from Mixmag and Billboard, reaching #4 in the Dance/Electronic Album charts, was named in KCRW’s ‘Top 10 Albums of 2019’ and also claimed the #1 spot on the NACC Electronic Album charts for three consecutive weeks. After a string of highly praised LP remix singles from Kenny Dope, Wookie, Alex Metric and Mat Zo among others, winning support from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard and Phil Taggart, The Blessed Madonna and Diplo, Moon Boots now delivers the full remix album adding a host of new reworks to the mix.

The first of the new remixes comes from Stockholm-based producer DJ Clea who turns in a driving house rework of vocal cut ‘So Precious’. For the past decade Clea has steadily built her reputation as one of Stockholm’s finest DJs and producers with releases on Ghostly International and DJ Haus’ Unknown To The Unknown imprint.

‘Jumpin’ gets a jazz-influenced rework courtesy of LA’s Oceans1985 a.k.a. Tyler Blake. With a career spanning over 10 years under his Classixx alias with Michael David, releasing on Future Classic, Innovative Leisure and Kitsuné, Tyler now turns his attention to his solo project after launching earlier this summer with remixes for LA rising talent Don and popular American songstress Janelle Kroll.

Detroit born and raised, DJ and producer DJ Holographic has been making waves in her hometown and beyond in recent years. Travelling the world, she has thrilled crowds on hallowed dance floors at Smart Bar, Panorama Bar, Output all the while winning support from the likes of Mixmag, DJ Mag and top tier DJ's such as The Blessed Madonna and Carl Craig. Best known for serving up a mix of consuming house beats, R&B and unreserved nu-disco, her rework of ‘Gary’s House’ certainly does not disappoint.

A stand-out track from the LP, Moon Boots’ collaboration with seasoned UK talent Little Boots, ‘You Won’t See Me Cry’ gets a hallmark disco-funk twist courtesy of Bristol’s Crackazat. A familiar face on Omena, Local Talk, Freerange and Futureboogie labels, Ben has been championed by the likes of Purple Disco Machine, Tensnake, Darius and The Magician.

‘Trance & Dental’ gets a piano-led rework by Bristol-based Dark Arts Club. Having gained support from Jamie Jones, Danny Howard and Eats Everything, Dark Arts Club brings a melodic house rework to the album.

Drawing influence from house aficionado’s Detroit Swindle and Kerri Chandler, French DJ and producer Alastair Lane lands on Anjunadeep with a high energy jazzy-house take on instrumental title-track ‘Bimini Road’.

Finally ‘Lost City’ sees a deep atmospheric rework from rising Russian-born, German-based DJ and producer Soela. With releases on leading imprints Kompakt, Shall Not Fade and Detroit Underground, Soela joins the label after a landmark year having recently released her debut album ‘Genuine Silk’ via German imprint Dial Records.
