Most Half Centuries in Test (2010 - 2019) | Most Fifties | Most Half Centuries | Root | Cook

The list for most half-century scores consists of some class batsmen and is topped by joe root of England who has been scoring a truckload of fifties so consistently and along with sir Alastair Cook who is at second place, forming the backbone of English test cricket in the last decade.

Further down the list has some big names like Misbah-ul--Haq who led Pakistan from the front and with the bat as well scoring as many as 35 half-centuries in the process, with the support of Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq who also feature here and played their role with the bat for their team.

And other top batsmen like Steve Smith, Kane Williamson, Angelo Mathews David Warner, Ross Taylor, Cheteshwar Pujara, ABD, Hashim Amla, Dimuth Karunaratne also maintained their hunger for runs throughout the decade and these names occupy the bottom half of the list just because most of their 50+ scores were converted into hundreds.
One surprising name in the list is that of Ian Bell, who has not played much of test cricket in last 4-5years and still features just with the sheer number of runs he scored during the first half of the decade.
