8. The Road To Heaven
Used by the Taiwan Marines, the Road To Heaven may seem like an exercise that you would think would lead to a high place, but in fact it is a test of pain and will that only the toughest can survive.

7. The Fire Walk
Most countries believe in having the best training possible for their forces so that they are the most elite and can perform the mission at hand. But, for the nations like Belarus, their goal is a little different. They are known as the "last dictatorship in Europe", a remnant of the fallen Soviet Union, so for them, they believe that training their forces to be the best isn't just to keep enemies at bay, but keep their people in line.

6. A Shot To The Chest...and the Head
When it comes to the Russian special forces of history, they prefer to give their trainees a very "real world" look at what is about to happen to them. Meaning that they're never afraid to inflict pain on those hoping to join their ranks if it means getting them prepared for what's out there. Famously, the Soviet Union special forces the Spetsnaz would beat up their trainees physically while they were tied to a chair to help toughen them up in order to ensure they could survive interrogation techniques.

5. The Cold Training
Something that should not be forgotten in regards to what soldiers do in the field of battle is that they sometimes fight in conditions that is not very healthy or good. Because of that, many special forces do "environment training" and preparedness courses to help ensure that they are ready for whatever conditions go their way, but for South Korea, they take things to the extreme in this regard.

4. The Pigs and the Snipers
The United States Marines are known to have some of the best snipers around, and one of the reasons for that is their extensive sniper training that helps them hit the target they want. But, in the battlefield, accuracy isn't enough, you need to be sure you can hit your target while blending into the environment, and that's where the Ghillie Suit comes in.

3. Coldwater Training
The Navy Seals of the United States are known as one of the best fighting units in the entire world, and part of that is due to their extreme training that they have to do in order to advance, hence their catchphrase, "The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday". But what some people don't know is how basic and brutal some of their training can be, including their "drown proofing" exercise that they make every potential recruit do, because if you drown in the water, you can't be a Navy Seal.

2. That Sinking Feeling
In the various Navies of the world, the biggest threat or danger that any crewman can face is that they're on a sinking ship that is going down, and there are people who need to be helped. With the United States Navy, they believe that there is no substitute for experience, so for young recruits who are trying to make it into the Navy, they decided to give them a full "Sinking Ship" experience, and it's not a simulation, it's real, and it lasts for 12 hours.

1. City On A Thrill
One of the major problems that certain military forces have is that their training grounds are limited by their location and what they have available, which is why many training techniques are born so that they can compensate for that. In example, if you're supposed to be a force that can weave through a city, it would be logical to have a city to train in that has all the natural elements in it, but most countries wouldn't be able to do that for one reason or another.
