I'm Aja Dang and new year, new you? I know we are all on that weight loss grind of the new year so here are my 7 *favorite* healthy and easy snack recipes to get you past your french fries cravings. Getting your food on track is the #1 to lose weight, but some of us (ie. me) aren't willing to give up the sweet taste of... well, everything. SO here are some guilt free snacking recipes to help you eat healthier and achieve any weight loss goals/motivation you might have.

* some of these recipes don't have measurements because... they don't need any! Adjust the ingredients according to your taste. It's food for god sakes, have fun with it.

APPLE SANDWICH
- apples
- nut butter
- goji berries

AVOCADO SUSHI
- seaweed
- avocado

GUAC
- avocado
- garlic
- tomatoes
- red onion
- lime
- salt

DIJON VINAIGRETTE
- 1/4c + 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 (or 2) garlic cloves
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt

SWEET RICE CAKE
- rice cake
- nut butter
- fruit
- honey

SAVORY RICE CAKE
- rice cake
- tomatoes
- cucumber
- avocado
- balsamic vinegar

KALE CHIPS
preheat oven to 300 degrees
- kale, rinse and dried. Discarding the large stems
- in a large mixing bowl, drizzle with oil and your choice of seasonings.
- spread kale over baking sheet. Spread out (do two batches if needed).
- Bake for 15 minutes, then toss slightly to ensure even baking. Bake for 5-10 minutes depending on your level of crispiness.
